  • 1 package premade pie dough (contains 2 crusts)

  • 1 tablespoon milk, cream, or water (for egg wash)
  • Additional coarse brown sugar (for sprinkling)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Apples: Peel, core, and dice the apples. In a mixing bowl, combine the apples with brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice, ginger, salt, butter, vanilla extract, and cornstarch slurry.
  2. Roll Out Dough: Dust your surface with flour and roll out the premade pie dough. Cut circles for the top and bottom crusts.
  3. Assemble Pies: Place one dough circle in each muffin tin cup. Fill each with about one tablespoon of the apple mixture. Top with another dough circle and seal edges; brush with egg wash.
  4. Bake: Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Sprinkle coarse brown sugar on top and bake for about 25 minutes until golden brown.
