  • 2 1/4 cups Panko breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg, lightly beaten
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  2. In a bowl, combine chopped broccoli with Colby cheese, cheddar cheese, Velveeta chunks, red pepper flakes, 1/4 cup Panko breadcrumbs, and one beaten egg; mix well.

  4. Set up breading station with flour, beaten eggs mixed with water, and remaining Panko breadcrumbs.
  5. Heat oil in a Dutch oven to 375°F.
  6. Coat each ball in flour, dip in egg mixture, then roll in Panko breadcrumbs.
