Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 275°F (135°C) and grease a 9 x 13-inch baking pan.
  2. Mix mashed bananas with lemon juice and set aside.
  3. In another bowl, combine flour, baking soda, and salt.
  4. Cream together butter and sugar until fluffy.
  5. Beat in eggs one at a time followed by vanilla.
  6. Alternately add the flour mixture and buttermilk into the creamed mixture, then stir in the banana mix until blended.
